I cant get the icon to appear in the dashboard. What am I doing wrong?

I can't get the icon to appear in my dashboard either. What's the solution??

I never got the icon to appear in my dashboard (I'm msmcromance) it appears in the applications folder fine, but not on the dashboard. what am i doing wrong?
