Today, Unsanity has released Dock Detox 1.2, updated for use with Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther" and Application Enhancer 1.4.1. Dock Detox is a free haxie that will remove application icon bouncing in the Dock. Normally in Mac OS X, you can turn off the application launch bounces, but not when a particular application is requesting your attention. Dock Detox alleviates the Dock from this excessive bouncing.

Panic and The Iconfactory have released a significant update to their popular icon management utility. Pixadex 1.5 adds support for the importing and exporting of Windows .ICO files, icons in collections can now be arranged manually or automatically by various attributes, hard disk and other volume icons can now be customized, and search results can be saved into a new collection. The new version brings many other new features and improvements. Pixadex 1.5 works with Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is $18.95 shareware. The upgrade is free to registered users.

Panic and The Iconfactory are pleased to announce the immediate release of the latest version of their popular system icon utility - CandyBar. This latest version contains several important updates including full qualification for the next Mac OS X release - 10.3.3 as well as a bug fix that prevented reverting to default icons on unqualified system versions. Spaztik and ul1984 from the MacNN Forums have released iChatThemer 0.1. iChatThemer is similar to Safaricon and makes it simple to apply themes to Apple's iChat instant messaging client. A download link and discussion on iChatThemer is available in the MacNN forums.

The Iconfactory is pleased to announce the release of Dave Brasgalla's latest freeware collection - World of Aqua: Rev 2 Drives. These new drives are influenced by the current industrial design of Apple's iBooks and iPods and lend a clean, slick look to any desktop. MacThemes.net has announced a theme contest geared towards first time themers who may be intimidated by the theme creation process and ThemePark. Mac OS X Hints has posted information from 'Durandal' on how to customize the hand cursor in WebCore apps (such as Mail under 10.3 and Safari) in Mac OS X. Durandal has also provide a replacement for the hand cursor, complete with a shadow and antialiasing.
