PhotoPro is a dark minimalistic theme with semi-tranparent menus - by Martin Ottosson and Palli Svansson. Icons by Laurent Baumann, modded by Palli Svansson.

Update: Better unified windows, various other small fixes and some new icons, mostly file icons.

Photopro guikit. Instructions. Icon packages.

Themed apps include Safari, Camino, Mail, iChat, iTunes, iCal, Quicktime player, VLC, DVD Player, Toast Titanium and Garageband.

Excellent, too bad I can't get the transparent version to work. Applying the provided fix makes the menu bar completely transparent and the finder texture revert to metal.

I take that back, the fix is working properly if applied as described. I just initially failed to understand the instructions. Congratulations to the artist for the best looking OSX theme!!!

i love this theme so much, simple yet elegant. if leopard used this as it it's default theme i would sell my house to get the first copy of it... thank you i have replaced aqua and have used this since the day you released it.

Help please:

When I try to install the gui kit it says that "The mod at "PhotoPro 1.2" cannot be used because the guiKit file is too new to read."

This is the great, I have been using the previous versions and love them.

When you re-download shapeshifter, the 24b3.dmg version downloads with the other 231.dmg.

It was a bad idea to publish a theme that works with a beta version of shapeshifter, any way this theme is cool. hope the contextual menu problems are fixed.

The menu fixes don't seem to rid the whole extra layer program with the menu extras (energy saver, bluetooth etc.) without disabling the entire "smoky" transparent menubar and sometimes disabling the left side of the bar altogether. Any hints?

Should have read the lines posted before. Got the beta version an worked. I like it very much though it seems a little to dark when reading sometimes. Other thing is the icons on the upper right, screen, volume, etc, get a background box I really don't like, other than that it's great, transparent menus are very cool.

If you follow the instructions included, you can get rid of the bacground boxes.

Great theme... although, could you make a "Solid" version where the drop down menus FILE, EDIT, VIEW, etc. are solid and not transparent?

like this theme, unfortunatelly in adobe apps itt not what it could be ;-( those people in adobe corp! anyway any chance to have bigger scrollbar and at least color progressbar? I'd liek to modify it, but dunno how, just these two things. Fanx

does anyone else have problems clicking FILE EDIT VIEW...etc? I sometimes have to click those buttons 4 or 5 times because I guess I 'miss'. I click it and it goes to Finder, so I have to reselect the program and try again. Am I alone with this?

Nice, but the window buttons on corner are WAYYYYYYY TOO SMALL.....very hard to push. The need at least 20-25% bigger

I would use this theme if the window corner buttons were larger, and a red, yellow, green optional themeset.

great theme, really my favourite from all i've seen ! just the problem with Logic Pro... (actually, it seems that it is a general problem with shapeshifter... resolved by your "concurrent" AmunRaa... but i am not so enthusiast with this theme than i am with yours.)

awesome theme - just have a problem with adium which has a icon set, whenever it changes status - eg idle, away, etc... the old adium icon replaces the cool photopro 1.5 one. how to i get adium to quit over riding photopro?

Excellent theme. Matches the look and feel of the Black MacBook. Get a nice sunset background and apply orange highlighting. Yum!

Any suggestions on how to fix the text issues that pop up from time to time with this theme? It has issues in Vuze(azureus bitorrent Client) and Firefox, in Vuze it is impossible to see download/upload speeds, tab titles etc because they are white on white, firefox has a similar issue on occasional buttons, The theme doesn't skin these Apps but it has some sort of effect because the aqua theme doesn't do this.

This is a great theme! Only problem is that you have to re-apply the transparency fix, but besides that, it is great!

I'm a designer, photographer and media creator and I get bored of the look of my Macs from time to time.

This is the best theme I've had so far and love to work using it, my only complain or suggestion is please make it compatible to adobe software i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, etc...
Also text on the buttons using firefox is to dimmed to be readable.

Some programs I've added to the exclude list but somehow they won't be excluded and it messes up all the tools on adobe progs. and tabs so I end up applying the default theme again.

How do I remove this theme?
I've actived different themes in shapeshifter, but the transparency of this theme remains, and it's seriously anoying me!
Any ideals on how to remove it?

I tried to install the theme, but all I got was a folder containing a TextEdit document with a bunch of gibberish in it.
