Sunset Bay Sunset
By Robert Bynum
January 24th, 2013
Taken in January 2013 at Sunset Bay in Coos Bay Oregon, USA. I had to hike out at low tide and set up on the rocks. Waited for the Sun to drop to the crevice created by two rock formations.
No post processing. Just cropped in Canon OEM software.
Photo Settings: 190mm, f/16, 1/30 second, ISO 50.
Coquille Falls

Punchbowl like falls on the South Fork Coquille River in Coos County Oregon. Riding an off-road motorcycle got me there.

Bandon Sea Stars
By Robert Bynum
December 16th, 2013
Shot of one of the many cool rocks at the Bandon beach on the Oregon Coast, USA. Sunset was not that great but the colorful cluster of starfish caught my eye along with the emerald tide pool.

South Sunset Bay
By Robert Bynum
January 8th, 2014
A short little side cliff hike accessible during low tide opens up to a large shelf with numerous tide pools. Sneaker waves can catch you as the tide comes in if your not careful.
Adobe Lightroom 5.3, Adobe Photoshop Elements 11, Lee 0.9 ND Hard Grad filter, Hoya ND16 filter.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.

Thor's Well
By Robert Bynum
March 19th, 2015
A vertical sea cave on the Oregon Coast where the water is blown out and sucked back in with the waves near high tide. Can be a very dangerous spot and I'm sure many cameras have been lost as the volume of water that comes out of this hole can be unpredictable and you will be waist deep before you know it. I would imagine getting pulled into this hole in rough sea conditions would be fatal.
CP filter, tripod, Adobe Lightroom.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 20mm, f/11, 1/4 second, ISO 50.

Hope
By Robert Bynum
November 13th, 2014
Lone Seagull sitting on the interesting rocky headlands on the Oregon Coast. Was hoping for a nice sunset but it did not occur this particular night. After some adjustments in Lightroom, used Nik software to bring out some detail and increase contrast. The image may be overly sharp but I liked it this way. This new 16-35mm lens is great.
Oben tripod, LEE 0.9 hard GND filter, handheld.
Sea Moss Sunset
By Robert Bynum
March 25th, 2015
I have been waiting for this green seaweed to grow again on some of these rocks in the tidal zone. It dies back in the summer and is brightest right about now. Now I just have to wait for a great sunset and the right tide at the same time.
Lightroom, tripod, 0.9 nd filter.
Bonsai!
By Robert Bynum
September 1st, 2013
Some local guys jumping off "Bonsai Rock" on the east shore of Lake Tahoe near sunset. Skies did not favor great shots like I have seen of this location but at least I was able to capture these guys having fun.
