While hiking up the valley into the Mount Cook glacier in New Zealand, we came across this wonderful view, complete with all the composition components for a great photo.

While shopping in Pienza along a walkway crammed with shops packed to the gills with local products - from cheese to ceramics to olive oil to meats and, of course, wine - I was able to snap this shot in a meat store. And in keeping with the Italian way of life, how could a selection of meats not include a fine assortment of local wines?

This is an example of the sand cliffs along the Great Ocean Road in Australia, just to the west of Melbourne.

At the entrance to the Dolomites mountains in northeast Italy, there is a small town called Castelrotto...a great place to begin exploring these amazing sphires of granite jutting straight up from the ground. This is a view on a hike just outside of town.
