Thanks everyone!
This is an HDR. But the Center exposure is very close to this photo just a but lower in contrast. The HDR treatment just gave it that pop.
No filters on it but nik does look awesome! I'm going to have to give it a try!

I was a huge fan of your crazy sun picture, not to mention your others. I really like the way you use HDR in your photos because it really brings stuff out within the picture yet I don't feel like it is overdone. What do you use for HDR processing, just Photoshop or some type of program like Photomatix?

Thanks SinaiB! I use Photomatix Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom in my work flow. I'm a huge fan of large format view camera and high contrast slide film such as Fuji Velvia. Since I'm really just starting off I figured I needed something more versetile (and lighter) so I currently work with a DSLR. Too it seemed as if HDR would help me create highly detailed high contrast images. I'm glad you like my work. I'm always working to improve so hopefully in the future I'll be able to put together even better images.
Thanks Flippy that's really kind of you to say! I do have a few prints for sale on Imagekind.com just type in alexstross in the search box.

Thanks everyone.
Jupa: I know what you mean the small image is kind of a mess. I don't think it's going to end up on many iphones. :)
stelorone: Sounds like one of those high difficulty ones.
