Mac OS X Tiger

March 12th, 2006

This is the fourth in a series of Mac OS X Promo ads I did. They were originally full-sized 16x20" posters that I decided to turn into wallpapers. Once again, this is pretty basic. I did it based on the box art for the Tiger package. Nothing really spectacular. I'd say it's even more simple than the Panther one.

What is it with you andy, can you not tell from your posts in Freeze that nobody likes your negativity? Be positive, as you were in Fresh Cut!

So lainsnavi, this is the actual X that was done for Apple? You work for them I assume? Any idea what Leopard is going to look like?

Andy,

In case you did not notice, this is a wallpaper oriented website, not a professional photography critique site. You negative critiques tend to be juvenille and when you do make a positive comment you mention how valuable it is because you are such a tough judge. Just because you are offensive most of the time it does not mean that your nonoffensive comments have any more creedence than the others. Your possitive oppinions are marred by the tone of your negative ones and has led myself and probably others on this site to not give much value to anything you say.

Good critiques are always welcomed, but inflamatory comments help nobody (except maybe your ego).

Good day

then why is it so easy to get mad over my juvenille critique. Why don't you be a big boy and grow up and be the bigger person and ignore it. thats why they put comment voting on so people like you would stop whining about other peoples critique. If you want to post something dont get easily offensive if you don't want people to critque your work. Just get over it.

Pretty nice. I think it would have been a bit better with either smaller font or no font at all.

davidjoyce,

It's not the *actual* one. I did it as accurately as I could, though. I did the Apple promos for fun. Not all of them got posted, but ah well. You can see the other ones at my DeviantART site: http://lainsnavi.deviantart.com
