Reliable...
By Roberto
June 18th, 2007
Saw this in a car park next to an old pub, nothing else around just all on its own. Added a little contast and some vignetting to give it some emotion. Taken with a Canon EOS 5D.

My girlfriend does that all the time. She takes all color out but one. She has a Canon SD series camera.

I have had inconsistant results with Colorkey. I usually make a new background layer, make it B&W, and then erase the top layer. Somtimes using Colorkey can make for, while technically correct, less than pleasing looking results. The more ham-fisted way I do it, I have more flexibility.

The picture looks nice but I'm not sure about the title "Reliable...". I may have been parked a long time for a reason. :D Nice contrast though!

the car is just too clean, regardless of the fact it's recently rained, this car model looks dated so the fact the car is so well kept just... well doesn't fit

A Reliant Robin made in Tamworth, Staffordshire, UK. Unfortunately no longer made. Can be driven on a motorcycle license. A very popular car/van in its day

Have you tried to make the image black and white but not the car? I think it could be a cool effect.
Just a thought :-)
