Beautiful shot. I love it. Wish it was a bit higher res to use on my dual displays though.

Cool rock formation. The whole picture has a relaxing tropical feel to it. Looks like a nice place to have lunch. haha

Looks like a nice place to take my gf and you know what in the sand or even on that cool rock. Nice photo. What camera lens do you use?

From his description, I'm guessing he used this lens.

I love this shot. I was in the Seychellese in 2002 during a Marine Corps deployment; and I have to say that Hawaii has absolutely nothing on this place. These islands could have truly been the location of the Garden of Eden.

This looks, to a great extent, rendered. It's really a photo?

@mikeklodnicki

Yes, it's real! :)

I also thought this was a Crysis screenshot. That should be taken as a compliment.

I don't know, it looks rendered to me too....the lighting on the bottom left of the closest rock formation seems a bit off (there should be a bit more of a shadow there)and the rocks seem to be sitting on the sand instead of actually being a part of it..if it's real though, that is simply gorgeous (and if it's cg, well done sir - very convincing)

@jedidiah0348

screenshot @ CS3 with EXIF-Data
It's a PEF RAW File

I've had the black and white beach scene as my wallpaper for a while and I'm just realizing that this photo was taken by the same person. Nice work.

Ahh.. a nice "Crysis-like" screenshot. Thanks! I like it. (I knew from the first second that it was fake, and fake at that.. all you have to do is look at the contrast between the background sky, trees versus the rocks.. and the rocks versus sand that kind of superficial contrast is impossible in real life). Wake up, gullible retards.. do not be fooled or misled by the "photographer"'s claims. It's almost hilarious but unfortunately ummm.. what's the right word for it... ludicrously pathetic?

@dtlemsani

Believe it or not, it's real! I'm not into rendering or something like
that! This shot was taken with a polarizer, so that't the reason for
the contrast between the sky and the trees and of course Photoshop
did the rest. ;)

Have you checked the link I posted some days before? Think that's
enough prove!

Here is a another shot taken that day
different angle and just resized, including Exif data

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner for the most stupid post ever award!

Wow, thanks for such a big reward! It'd be awesome to win such a reward on the internet out of billions of people!

Hey, Amecke, I sincerely apologize. I should have read the post comments first and realized that a strong polarizer was used before commenting myself. Your unedited photo still looks awesome! I have two different 24" monitors--one being a CRT and the other LCD. On the ultra-realistic CRT monitor, it does look very real, but on my LCD with super-vibrant and ultra-bright colors, the photoshop edit just makes it look like a fake 'Crysis-like' game screenshot. Hey, please take it as a compliment that I thought it was fake. I have taken some screenshots (of sun rays, etc..) that were considered to be fake by others many times before and it made me feel a bit disillusioned by their crude skepticism. Been to St. Kitts & Nevis but yours is better. I set your picture as the desktop wallpaper on both of my monitors.

However, could you get rid of the horrible red lines on the left edge of those boulders on the left side of the picture? Thanx

Extraordinary shot!, both in location,technique and composition.

However i would consider joining a worthwhile community rather then here.

If you do not already know, although likely do , you would recieve much better feedback, support and worthwhile! critique at www.deviantart.com

Hope to see you there one day!.......

Keep up the fantastic work!.
