Great pictures, but it looks like some of the trials are in the wrong place!

I thought it was Toronto at first, when I looked at the thumbnail. It looks like the CN tower lol. Good pic.

Very cool, Very cool, the only thing is it looks like you have some flying cars in your picture.

Mike, I think the trails you're referring to are from a passing truck or bus...

Thanks Joe. I got this from a motorway bridge. Didn't need a tripod either, just rested the camera on the bridge.

I have other shots from the same viewpoint. If anyone wants one without the 'flying car' look, contact me and I'll see what I can do.

How long of an exposure did you use for this photograph and what was the aperture set at? I would like to take a picture like that and but don't know what settings to use.

great photo of the sky tower and the motorway :D lol at the guys referring to the flying cars, indeed that would be a bus/truck going into the cbd. photo looks great with a duplicated layer, gaussian blur of 1.5, overlay and use a image adj>match color and bring down the color intensity round to 80ish. a true night sky with great city lights

bbobjoe, these are the settings I used:

ISO 100, 10 seconds, f/11.

I used Lightroom to adjust the White Balance as the original had a very orange tone due to the street lights.

You guys obviously don't know New Zealand to well. There are flying buses and trucks everywhere down here. Don't you have them? Get with the times ;)
BTW, great pic!
