Green Delight

October 23rd, 2008

This is sunset at Onehunga Wharf, Auckland. I'd been here several times in the past but never found these green rocks until another photographer mentioned them.

Beautiful work as always, Chris.
You know, I've begun to understand why so many complain about the frequency of "sunset" photo's on this site. However, one nice thing about it is getting to see how many different sunsets there are. Soli Deo gloria

Yeah I don't get the whole anti-sunset thing personally. A sunset is just a landscape that happens to include the setting sun. While the sun may look the same, the foreground is unique in every image. But each to their own, I love sunset photos so I'll continue to take them until I get sick of them myself :)

Chris,
Your work is always beautiful. Perfect angles and excellent coloring. I've found my favorites page seems to have a great deal of your photos. I look forward to seeing more!

Wish I could see what's in the foreground pool; it intrigues me. Polarizer might have helped on this one to eliminate glare off pool's surface. Either way, beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful colours and great depth. Personally I can never have too much of sunsets, either in real life or on my screen - especially if they are as stunning as this.
