You cannot miss when photographing nature's majesty such as this. Believe it or not, the meandering of the center-line of the highway adds a nice touch too. I hope your car had a full tank of gas!

I love everything about this photo except for one thing. The composition is excellent as well as the colors. It has been over sharpened though and that, for me, makes it hard to look at at full size. Smaller is looks excellent.

I have been to Monument Valley several times and this road is amazing! Thank you for posting these pictures of one of my favorite places on earth.

TheReal7 I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed or is bothered by this. The over sharpening or increase in contrast or whatever it is you did kind of hurts my eyes. The image composition is great, the subject matter is great, the colors are well done, but it's just hard for me to look at for too long.

Its a nice shot. I can't look at it too long though because it looks like it has had the sharpness cranked up way too high. It actually starts hurting my eyes if I look at it too long. Could be that I am getting really tired of seeing HDRs or something too.
