Fishing at Dusk
By Chris Gin
December 28th, 2008
I wasn't going to submit any more sunsets here, but I really like this shot. We had a fabulous sunset here tonight, and I was able to get these fishermen in action. Taken at Coyle Park, Point Chevalier, Auckland.

I don't know about everyone else but I still like a relaxing sunrise/sunset shot every once in a while here on InterfaceLIFT. Another excellent shot, thanks.

Yes Cat Chick, they are still very nice. Especially when you have a good variety such as we've been provided with for the last few months. As for the picture, this is just as excellent as I've come to expect from this submitter. Nice shot again, Chris.

This is my first comment on interfacelift -- been lurking here for some time.
I beg you to keep on posting your sunset photos, and the same applies for everyone else. Just because a miserable group of people moan about these photos, doesn't mean that there don't exist a vast majority who like them, and in your case, Chris, your pics are downright amazing. Keep on posting.

Great shot as usual, Chris. High time for a quality sunset. Nice mellow colors, and I love the fishermen. Again, I'm amused that the two or three regulars who requested a little variety are being labeled "miserable", but no matter. I'd say that eating the same dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner would be miserable. That doesn't mean I don't think the cook is stellar. Chris, I'm appreciating your work here tenfold since I've since all the other wonderful stuff you do. Why that sentiment offends some people is truly beyond me. What would The Beatles be today if they stopped at "Love Me Do"?

More great work from the Master. The three nearly parallel fishing rods are the icing on the cake. They give the image a nice touch. It would still be a beautifully captured sunset without them. Enjoy your summer and have a happy New Year!

Seems you are having a very good run , now I'd like to see you do some shots of perhaps less pretty places just to illustrate the diversity of your skills ..

Another beautiful composition, Chris. The colours are fabulous. Love the way the fishing rods are so perfectly placed! Again, a great capture of nature and Man's relationship with the planet. Thanks.

Whoa. Hey Noupette, good call on the evenly-spaced fishing rods. I didn't even really notice! But when I compare this with the alternate composition, I can really see the care that was taken to make sure everything was perfect. Again, nice job Chris!!
