Wow, very nice! The stark details and contrast almost makes this look like CGI. Great capture, has a really pleasing gothic quality to it.

WOW! I think this came out very well. I love your choice of b&w over traditional over-saturated night scene. I love the angle you have used in your composition as well. Great work! Keep it up.

Wow! This is great work! It's almost like a godfather scene or something. Keep up the great work! And i love the angle and subject and especially how you approached both.

Magazine and greeting card companies please take a number; this is the one you'll want. If Gomez or Morticia Addams were elected mayor of Philly, he or she would feel right at home. I went to college in Philly and have never seen City Hall so dramatically presented.

I think the color version looks very good as well. I think the fact that the sky is completely black and the building is a light gray gives a nice stark contrast. Good work :)

Two words: amazingly amazing! I love this dramatic image. Its hard to get the contrast and shadowing so terrific in b+w, but you completely NAILED it! Keep Submitting!

I love how old buildings like this come out in black and white. Very dramatic and almost Tim Burton Batman'ish.

Peter, as a fellow Philadelphian, please please please take more shots of Philadelphia. I love this website, and often use these photos found here as my desktop wallpaper for my beloved Mac, but there are never any shots of Philadephia. Plenty of NYC, Chicago, San Fran, Baltimore, Boston, etc...but Philly? Nope. The birthplace of the nation, and only one photo of City Hall.
Peter, I'm begging you, get out there and take more shots of out awesome city!
