Everything is a little too blurry. But a very beautiful place. Not bad for first submission.

I don't like very much blurred pics, but i admit you did a good work. I'd like to be as skilled as you with Photoshop!

Not feelin this one. The branch in the foreground is a little to distracting for me. I agree it takes skill to do this but I think you missed the mark on this one.

way too much blury! Sory. Not realistic. The only good thing is that it feels like you are in a dream- If this is the way you wanted - its really awsome.!!!

I don't think Smith Geet meant to, but I think he/she just paid your Photoshop skills a compliment. Anyways, I have to say I feel the same as most of the other commenters: good, but too blurry.

I agree that there is a little too much blur going on here. You need some type of focal point in the image. A lot of blur isn't necessarily bad if that's the intent. But in this particular shot you weren't going for the affect of movement so you should have some type of focal point. Nice first submission attempt none the less.

Any chance of a resubmission with less blur? The thumbnail looks very cool, it just doesn't translate to the desktop with that much fuzz.

wow, am i the only person who "gets" the bluriness? i love blurry photos for wallpapers, you can see the icons a lot better and in this case you can tell they were going for a dreamy look rather than a plain old crisp picture. good work, but upgrade to CS4. :)

I like the feel this image creates the dreamy (blurry) aspect to me gives the effect of the hot sun its a style that isn't used a great deal on this site, but one that I believe we should encourage as it does convey the heat very well.

Djtronika, lots of folks don't use icons or even static menus anymore (just Finder or Explorer), so the desktop becomes the focus. Don't get me wrong, I "get" bokeh and appreciate it when done well, but in my opinion it should make a fuller commitment. This one seems to dance indecisively. Still a very cool composition, I'd just love to see a redux.

Brizkit, I agree with you as well as those who pose the counter-argument. I know these collections are intended for desktop use, and they're on my computer serving that self-same purpose. However, first and foremost, I'm here for the art. I personally like the images clear and crisp with an allowance for shallow depth of field shots when appropriate. The fact that I use these images for wallpaper is just a practical way to enjoy the artists' good work. I've set my automatic rotation to fifteen minutes and I am delighted with each change of scene.

Soft focus is fine to make an artistic statement, but few landscapes exist to do that. Landscapes reflect the world as it really is; blurred pictures of brides reflect the warm slightly soft nature of the event. And proper blurring can mask blemishes. Here it just confuses the eye and tends to make the viewer want to focus the camera they are [apparently] viewing through.

Fantastic piece of work, but it would need a little less blur for me to use it as a wallpaper. Keep up the great work though!
