As soon as I saw that I thought, wow that looks just like Bellows. Many a summer vacation have been spent on that beach, a great place for camping if you can make your way down to the old runway.

For those interested, I used Nikon D700 with a 17-35mm f/2.8 lens. This was shot at 17mm, ISO 200, 1/160 sec & at f/14. I used a circular polarizer to bring out the colors in the sky/water.

Wonderful shot..it is a little different from the typical photos of Hawaii: sand isn't white, there aren't palms but mountains. I like it! :D

Thanks for the great shot of one of my favorite beaches ever. I was stationed at Camp Smith for 3 years and we spent many a three day weekend there. I love that place!

I keep coming back to this picture again. It's just the best wallpaper I've seen in my life, really. If I go to paradise I'll be living in a place like that:)

Really nice, love the picture. This was one of the nicer beaches I went to while I lived there. Wasn't there a crazy island front & center at this beach? I think I remember that.
