Nice photo, but in my opinion blurry background is too distracting. That plant seems to be very nice and i would prefer if it would be more in focus. Anyway this is a good first submission!

Nice! I usually avoid the backgrounds with a strong blur but I'm willing to give this one a try!

I believe the shallow DOF (blurred background ) is perfect in this shot. For some reason on this site every post that doesn't have front to back focus gets a some CC for it. I love to shoot wide open. I believe since it is a wallpaper site and not a photography site that alot of people just don't understand why the background is blurred and that is a desired effect. Great pic, nice perspective, I don't see anything I would have done diff. Thanks for the submission and I look forward to more shots from you.

Contrary to one of the previous comments (respectfully), I think the out-of-focus portion in the background lends perfectly to the portion in the foreground. Very nice submission, would love to see more.

After reading my previous post again it sounds a little mean. I meant no disrespect to the IFL community. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just wanted to point out that the blur is intentional to all who may not know.

Nice shot. I like the perspective.

To resize for the correct ratio (16:10, etc) I use Lightroom.

Stunning. I love the way the colors diminish from dark green at the center to a lighter, more filtered green toward the background. The detail in the leaves adds a level of dimension to the picture. Way to go!

I love it! I actually like how the background is blurred. It makes it easy on the eye for my desktop items. I think it actually gives them more pop. This will be my wallpaper for a while! Thanks! =]

I like this picture, but it seems like you edited too much of the picture, it almost seems fake; other than that its an nice overall

I disagree with jaypee. I don't see to many edits at all. Maybe the saturation was a bumped a bit but other than that I don't see any obvious edits. Can you please explain what you believe to be overdone jaypee? Just curious.

Nice picture, but what's that dent in all the leaves? Did the plant get stuck in a car door or something?
