What kind of flower are these? they're very particular, almost transparent, like they're are made of water or some jelly..anyway very nice, I love them, and the photo is really well done!

They are called Agapanthus. I used to have them all over my front yard in Southern California. They are really beautiful in full bloom.

If there's something I admire from your works is the simplicity and the fact of being merely nature shoots. Awesome job.

My new wallpaper as well! Very nice. Almost has a 3-dimensional appearance with the narrow plane of focus.

thank you all for your comments, and effectively, it's an agapanthus, thanks Hweingardt!.
I'm planning on taking another shot of the same flower when it comes to a full bloom. A little tip for mac users: if you love some of IFL and you want them all to be your wallpaper at the same time, what you can do is to create a folder where you store all the walls you like and in the settings, configure the wallpaper preferences to show all the folder with a certain interval of time. My interval is 5 seconds and I have about 400 wallpapers, sometimes, when I have nothing to do, I just look at my desktop and enjoy the slideshow!

nice job! I thought they were like little jellies! I love how it looks as if the flowers are suspended in the air!! WAY TO GO! you are an awesome photographer!

Wow, this looks eerily three-dimensional on my laptop. No kidding, I almost feel like I could touch some of those bulbs. Really nice stuff. I'm not even a big fan of macro flora, but this is excellent. Easily one of the best I've seen in this style!

I live in Orange County SoCal and I have been trying to get a shot like that for a while but could not quite pull it off. They are all over my front yard. Nice nice work brother

Excellent! Don't ever call it a 'snapshot'... it's a work of art.
