I love it..it looks like the final scene of some kind of dramatic or romantic film..and the contrast between the burning sky and the black of houses is great!

Lovely colours and great visual sensation, but might have been slightly better if the converging verticals hadn't been *quite* so converging. Perhaps the lens was slightly too wide an angle and might have benefitted from a greater distance and higher zoom instead (obviously depending on the constraints of the location). That said, it's still a lovely picture!

I'll go with the crowd on this one. It's kitschy, but it's got atmosphere and mood written all over it. It's pleasant to look at and it makes me feel good.

wow the man on the bicycle just makes this picture. It adds sort of a whimsical dreaminess to it, and the clouds are just perfect. My permanent desktop for the foreseeable future. :D

Is it inappropriate to post a link to an edited version here in the comments? I didn't actually like the bicycle so I practiced some Photoshop skills and took it out. I figure maybe someone else might like it and I don't mind sharing, unless that's against policy.
