I REALLY like this shot. Although it may not be everyone's cup of tea, I think it makes a great wallpaper, but even more than that, the composition and detail is fantastic! It makes me curious as to how this shot was staged and how many attempts it took. The match must have been secured somehow, and the image obviously rotated 90 degrees. Was there someone else assisting in lighting the match? Were you using a remote to capture the image? I love how you can see the match head only half burned.

I may not use it as a wallpaper, but I agree with Hweingardt. I would be very interested to learn the technical details of HOW to take a shot like this.
