Nice reflections. The white balance seems a little on the cool side. It could be the tone mapping that caused that as well.

really cool! But the 1024*768 resolution isn't correct. It is 1024*640.

Lovely photo, I voted for this one. I feel it is a little grey though, and as said above; a little on the cool side. But I made a few adjustments and it really compliments my desktop. (:

It's really a great pic. My only turnoff is the telephone lines on top of the hills (of course, I'm nitpicking :P ).

Sorry, but this is the type of shot that gives HDR a bad name. Looks way overprocessed to me.

Firstly, good effort. I love great HDR photography (see Scott's Tomahawks Cabin http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/1675/tomahawk%27s_cabin.html) but it's very difficult to get right especially when dealing with dark and very bright subject matter in the same shot, this makes light smoothing difficult. I know that from around 100 HDR sets I've had only a couple that look good with very careful adjustment in Photomatix. Perhaps some editing on the standard frame taken here would yield good results in PS, I'd like to see that.

Really a nice shot, although I would prefer it with sunshine and without the telephone lines ("thanks" Dhaman for pointing them out :( :))

But still a nice one. I voted for it (if I remember it correctly)

I didn't expect this one to receive any negative criticism at all of any kind. When I saw this, I couldn't stop staring at it. Maybe I'm a sucker for HDR, but I downloaded this one with enthusiasm. I'm really loving this shot and what was done with it.

Personally, I chose to vote for this submission because of the over-the-top look of it. There are a lot of trees-reflected-in-water pictures on this site and in the loupe, but this one stands out as unique.

Although its a better picture than i could take at the moment, i must say that i hate the overly processed look that Photomatix gives. Its as if someone handed a child a few buckets of overly saturated paints and said, paint me a picture (assuming said child was a good artist). My point is that HDR is one of those things that can either make of break an image. In my opinion Photoshop does a much better job with HDR, although it does not look over the top. This picture MAY have worked out better with less processing. Keeping in mind that this is art and therefore subjective, so take from this comment what you will. No offense was intended.

Your HDR is just right for this shot. You have created a stunning hillside. Across the lake the forest is mysterious, enticing, and complex. The limited palette is its great strength. Like the piece of art that it is, it will give the viewer pleasure, time after time.

Great shot. The only downfall for me that I would have personally removed if it was me that took it is the power lines on top of the hill. I'm way too picky on my pics and power lines are the one thing I try to avoid if at all possible. Although few pics out there were complemented by the lines and modern hardware in their pic, but rarely. I still want to tell you how nice of a pic this is though.
