This is a nice photo but it needs some more contrast. The medium contrast preset in curves with photoshop works wonders in my opinion. A touch of burning in the sky looks good too. Hope you dont mind my adjustments.

Love this. My new desktop. Also, this is of a noticeably higher caliber than your previous submission from nearly three years ago. Congrats.

I adjusted the gamma just a tad in the Photoshop levels box. It helped quite a bit. Very, very nice shot with multiple points of interest. Treat us to some more!

Magical! This is simply fun to look at and it makes me feel good. I think that's what really counts in the end. Favorited.

Given the chance just about anybody could have taken this picture ? same goes for the Horse one below as well ...

I don't think 'just about anybody' could have applied the perfect post-treatment to this photo. Sure, if 'just about anybody' had the right camera and was in the same place, the could have taken the same photo... but that's completely missing the point. This is a nice photo, and I'm glad someone has taken it - It doesn't matter whether superman did it or not. It looks beautiful on my desktop in 1920x1080 - no noise and nice and crisp. I don't think it lacks contrast either, I think that's just the HDR effect, and I think it's just right.

The whole point of photography is that someone will actually take the picture. Doesn't matter if just anyone could do it. What matters is that someone actually did. I didn't see any duplicates here, so chantalp73 was the only one at the moment that took that shot.
If we all go around thinking the same mindset that ah... anybody can take this shot... no photographs will ever be taken again.
And I am glad chantalp73 did take this... otherwise I wouldn't have seen it.

I don't understand all the criticism. I think this is one of the nicest photos I've seen one the site. Not every photograph has to be an over contrasted HDR image.
