Now we're talking! This is a cool one. That sweeping sheet of clouds at the bottom is just great. I like the color scheme. That glare is a little confusing, but I guess it makes sense to lighten things below. Nice work.

This is great! I've always felt the CG compliments more "celestial" type scenes the best. I'd love to see more like that if you feel so inspired. Maybe some space related stuff??? ;)

Still not my thing, but this is more like Classic Mohler. Nicely done.

How did you get this pic? I imagine this is photoshopped?

@Jasonx

Yes it's all CGI.

I generally don't care too much for RM's cgi stuff because i prefer the real thing. However, this one was different for me. i actually kinda like it.

Tint it blue, and I can almost see the word 'Dreamworks'.

I really like the clouds, but I've never been a fan of the oversized moon that always seems to find a way in to CGI pictures. Other than that, great submission, Mohler!

Jasonx: it was created in a program called Vue 7 (Vue 7 Infinite if memory recalls from his previous submissions). It was all rendered. For future reference, always keep an eye on the Keywords listed just above the comments area for clues on how the work was created. In addition, be sure to read the artist's description right next to the thumbnail.

As for this piece, I just HAD to comment! Richard, I am very impressed. It looks so real!

Regarding the glare: it looks to me like the sun is shining through a break in the upper-level clouds thereby being able to light up all those lower-level clouds while also peeking through a little break and thereby shining at the viewer too. I mean, look above the big section of the lower-level clouds: there's a big space in the upper-level clouds for the sun's light to shine through.

Man, I'm half-tempted to download this and ask people if they can tell whether it's real or not. hehe

So yeah, nice work!

Hey Divyansh: the work you linked to is a real photo while this one is not. The only thing similar about them is maybe the color - but only a little bit. Other than that, they're very different.

Reminds me of the opening of Sky Kids (The Flyboys in US), a film I have seen recently. Beautiful.

Dear sir, as silly as it sounds, I almost didn't want to look at this photo because I knew I would feel after examined it. I did it anyways, not really in the mood to feel what I did when I looked at this mind boggling work of art. I truly felt your work. Its breath taking. Thank you for letting us into your world.
