I took the liberty of adding a touch of contrast to the image. It helps immensely. Watch those rip currents.

I don't understand what it means "added a touch of contrast" but the water looks ps'd to death which causes the whole scene to feel artificial. The artificial feeling I get from looking at so much nature (sky) is unsettling because the picture is 100% natural when its presentation isn't. My mind knows this should feel natural and relaxing but it doesn't. The end result is claustrophobic.

@sacra.shino, the water looks like this due to a long exposure, it's very common in low light photography and usually not the result of Photoshop. Personally I love the effect (as you can probably tell from my photos) but it is a matter of personal preference.

Not a bad photo, but I don't feel that fantastical Braveroy stamp on this one. Nothing in this shot seems to draw me in. Maybe it's just not my thing.

Brizkit, I agree with you. I think the image lacks a focal point. Adding contrast does help somewhat.
@sacra.shino, my computer dictionary defines contrast as "the degree of difference between tones in a television picture, photograph, or other image."

I disagree about the lack of a focal point. It's in the halo of sun peaking over the clouds. Everything in the image moves toward, or around, that point. I particularly like the warm colors of the sky reflected in the water on the left side of the image. I agree the fuzzy effect of moving water in a long exposure isn't always attractive. But I think it works here, giving the image a painterly feel. But, yes, it is a matter of taste.
