Love it.

By the way... Has anybody noticed that the past few images are not making the RSS feed? That's not just happening to me is it?

Couldn't hit the homepage directly at all the last two or three days, nevermind the RSS. Quick google search for news gave me the twitter feed and the direct links there seemed to work.

It's a nice picture... But as someone once said, the satin water is sometimes too much. This image wouldn't have needed it..

Beautiful shot Chris. Thanks for all your hard work.

@ Beginning: Shooting this early in the morning normally requires a long exposure. If there is water in a long exposure you get "satin" water. So not only was it more than likely a necessity for this pic, I believe it looks perfect.

@EastTN Ok, I didn't know that, good to know. I'm not photographer as you can tell. :)

Great composition, Chris! I love the colors!

Thanks everyone.

@Beginning: Yeah as EastTN says, the smooth water is typical of shooting at this time of day. It is possible to minimize the effect (higher ISO, wider aperture) however most photographers (myself included) like the effect so don't go out of their way to avoid it.

@Cris Gin: Don't mind me, I don't necessarily know what I'm talking about... :) But it's still an awesome image, as with all of your work. I wish I was half as good as you guys.. :) Ok I'll be quiet now.. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
