Hunua Falls

October 28th, 2009

Hunua Falls are just South of Auckland, New Zealand. Very beautiful place and this was my first visit.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon 17-40mm L f4 and Singh Ray Vari-N-Duo filter.

Well, I liked Sandy and Whatipu better. This one lacks clarity, feels like you boosted the shadows in Photoshop, the composition is too tight...
Also I don't like the long-exposed blurry water, but that's just me.

I agree with Iraimbilanja..dark parts on the left of the photo look strange, and everything seems a bit noisy..your previous shots were better!

"Hunua Falls By North of Auckland just South of Auckland" nice :)

The left side might be a little too dark but I like the picture overall.

Thanks!

Can we get some constructive criticism instead of endless brown-nosing and "THANKS, AWESOME, GREATEST PHOTO EVER!"?

I like this, I didn't pay attention to the dark side on the left of the photo, until you guys were commenting about it, but my icons cover all that up, thanks for sharing :D *using as new background*

@ Quartix

Why would we criticize if we actually like the picture? Constructive or not...

Do you come into the comments just to look for negativity or something? If you don't like a picture then critique away yourself!

LOL.

Love it! The dark side works as my wallpaper so it easy to read files from my computer. As or the picture, waterfall is in good working order but i dunno whats wrong, maybe there isnt a lot going on there but the photo is still nice.
