I think I just wee'd a little bit, when I saw this as my wallpaper on my Dell 24" :)

Absolutely superb!!

Great photo but the color is a little too vibrant. It looks like it's a giant Cheeto leaf. But I guess nothing screams Autumn like a cheese covered leaf.

@EyeCandy, have you taken the time to carefully calibrate your monitor?
The colors look perfect to me. Not overly vibrant or orange. The leaf looks very natural.

As for the previous submission i usually prefer landscape o nature wallpaper, but i must admit this is real cool..i've never seen a leaf so closely..and this shot is very clear!

I love this one. It reminds me of a CG image I saw on DigitalBlasphemy.com several years ago of a maple leaf in a similar setting.

Excellent photo, great clarity and colour. Works really well with the Windows XP Zune theme. :) I highly recommend this combination. ;)

emats, very well. The surface was a great choice to make leaf color more vivid. The stone makes a slightly 'aggressive' tone, robust, yet a special charm. Thank you for that work.

Hooray to copyright.

Yeah it is a beautiful leaf. It's a '' photogenic '' leaf ie, the environment was set up without the desire or you chose the location or leaf ...?

This is beautiful! Truly one of the best desktops I have seen. Very nice lighting and effects.

the leaf looks amazing, the background i dont very like bcus it looks almost like ur comparing black and white to color right there, but i guess the title very explains it.

Thanks to all! :) I very appreciate that!

@Lord Thought
I choose that leaf(found it on the ground some meters away).

@EyeCandy
What means "CHEETO"?

I did a little making-of-photo. Have a look on it: http://img6.abload.de/img/kackstativo6mt.jpg

Woah, I like the idea of the "making of" photo, emats! IFL should take note, that would be a pretty cool optional add for submissions.

Leaf pic is impressive. Very striking. I wouldn't say it looks like a cheeto, but it's definitely a hair intense for my taste. Your other landscapes are excellent, though.

it happens that I am a leaves photo freak, but it should be the effect of this time of year. Perfect few colors. I'd liked the leaf decentred, but that's just my personal wallpaper compostion likeings.
