I took this photo just minutes before final sundown during my holiday on the wonderful isle Rügen, Germany. Very tricky situation 'cuz there were many cars driving by and I had to jump into the ditch every time one came through. :D
Canon EOS 450D, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Hoya Pro 1 Digital CPL, Adobe Photoshop CS4.

Great photo! I really like those 'road into nowhere' photos :-) Must say that the quality of the colors (really vibrant) and the composition is quite good! Thanks for this addition to my wallpapercycle ;-)

That's great in a lot of ways :)
It sucks that the right half is burned by the sun. Anyone know how that could've been avoided?

Wow! That's really a cool picture! I love the symmetry and the extreme clarity and viridity it gives off! Love the sun, love the blue cloud in the top left corner, love the street. Wirklich gelungen!

@emats, this is a very nice shot--very crisp. I looked more closely and did notice that the road does go on forever.
One suggestion, however. Since there was a good deal of traffic, there was no need to endanger yourself. Simply set the timer on the camera and place the camera in the center of the road and then walk away. That way you only endanger the camera!!
Pardon my silliness; my medication is starting to take effect. All the best.

At first I thought there was a piece of paper in the road, but then I noticed there is a similar white triangle about 8 stripes ahead. Are those some kind of "jiggle bars" there? Beautiful pic--I too love the "roads to forever."
@Camellia.
If your on about the Arrow sort of thing. That means, that means cars overtaking should stop, basically, because it either goes into a corner or something else.
Great picture though!

Hey Guys,
thanks a lot for your feedback and the praise - I'm very happy about that!
Before my answers I have a say s.th. I made a mistake with the file which I uploaded here - the colors are not so how they should be(I mailed the webmaster but hadn't a answer yet). For all who noticed that - here are the correct widescreen&hdtv files:
Widescreen:

HDTV:

@Iraimbilanja
I increased that sun with photoshop - note me if you want a version without that(I thought that it looks better with that sun). :)
@Macindows
You're wallpapers are amazing - thanks! :D We should launch a new website with our wallpapers. ;)
@stubulman
I can't endanger my camera - we will live together and die together :D ;)
@Recycle
Yes, that's right - some meters behind of me was a corner of the road.
Greetings, Sven :)
