Monumental
December 27th, 2009
On Navajo land, this is one of the many monuments that you can see when visiting the park. Since I was a kid I have always wanted to visit because I grew up with John Wayne. But more recently after I purchased my Sony PS3 and played the intro of Motorstorm on my plasma screen. But nothing beats the real thing!

Totally agree with Clyde. Love it. Nice lighting, clarity and angle. It just sits on my desktop like it was meant to be.

i really like the lighting on this one.
it's not too bright at the bottom and doesn't hurt your eyes like some wallpapers do.

That is gorgeous! Those monuments are really the coolest features of the South Western deserts. Also, if you're into racing games and the desert, the game Baja: Edge of Control is probably more for you than Motorstorm.

Simply a great shot. The best for me: the light, the colors and also the framing.
Everytime I see this kind of formations I'm tempted to check if they are for real or just papier-mache ;)
Congratulations!
