One of the more spectacular lightning shots I've seen. Very nice, thanks for posting.

Looks awesome on my iPod Touch. I did recrop the image though. I preferred the less intense lightning on the right, but that is just my personal preference. A very dynamic image and it's being added to my desktop rotation.

This is fantastic. It also scares me to death. It's at time like these that I think that I have a big target on my head a-la-Gary Larsen. :)

Was this from the past week or so? It was my first time in Colorado and IÂ’ve never seen it rain so hard in my life, haha!
Awesome, awesome picture! The bolts are crystal clear — and they seem mighty close to you, too…

Lens was EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. Also, you should include some foreground in the image. Great shot though.

Hey guys thanks for all the compliments. It was a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I shot RAW, the exposure was 30 seconds, F stop 25, and ISO 1600. EF-S 18-55mm Lens. In photoshop I removed the noise and increased the vibrance by a lot. Purple and Blue were the colors that came up. Then I added a vignette and that's it.
