I took this with my camera while walking around our village. I am an aspiring photographer and recently purchased my camera. This is one of my first shots.
Canon EOS Rebel T1i (500D), Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS

Well ... you did great with one of your first shots. This is a great macro. Color and composition looks awesome. Congratulations on your approved submission here as well. Thanks for sharing! Cheers.

the color is beautiful, but the focus doesn't seem quite right. Congratulations on a great first submission!

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I'll continue to try to get better pictures to share to everyone. Your gestures are definitely encouraging for me. Thank you.
@Pete...Glad I could contribute to your desktop. Thanks for the opportunity.
@Igor...Thanks. I had no idea that my first submission would be approved. Now that it did, I suddenly have inspiration to become a better photographer.
@DNAGS...you're right. The focus is all screwed up. I did what I could with a 55-250mm. I'll try making a similar shot next time with my newly acquired 50mm. Hopefully I'll get a better bokeh and a better focus. Thanks for the feedback.
