Very nice, lonely mood, without being cold and barren.
I like the empty down in the foreground. It adds to the open, quiet and peaceful feel of the place. The warm colors relieve what might otherwise be a forbidding emptiness. As I see it, emptiness is the subject of the picture. Any prominent object in the foreground would detract from the theme.
Often an image like this would be boring, but the shifting colors give it life and texture. The composition is almost perfect.

Hi, thanks for the comments.
InterClaw, good to see some honest crit and I appreciate it. There's some split toning in order to make it feel a little less cold (as mentioned by WhiteDog). Also it may appear a bit washed out as you said but that's due to it being quite foggy at the time and I think fits the image quite well.
I would have liked to get closer in as well but it's private land and surrounded by barbed wire, so decided against it
Cheers Spook-ld, it's a nice view isn't it :) Was on my way home from uni at the time, had meant to stop and get a picture there for ages.

I think I would have preferred if you'd moved closer to the fence/shrub. The way it is now is that the foreground is a bit uninteresting. Also, the colors seem washed out and details are crushed on the hills in the upper left hand side. Don't know anything about Photoshop, but I guess you altered it in some way? The antenna is not straight so I guess the camera was leaning right?
