This is the Mural Room in the Santa Barbara Courthouse. It was built in the early part of the 20th century following the earthquake that rocked parts of the West Coast. The setting is used for many weddings and is viewed by thousands each year.
The photograph is a long exposure of around 30 seconds but is not an HDR composite. Some fairly elementary changes in color and tonality were added.

I agree this is a superb photo, very well done, with excellent tonal balance, detail and composition. It's very evocative of the time and place it memorializes.
The image is too busy for my taste to use as a wallpaper, but would be an excellent choice for a framed gallery photo printed on professional quality paper. I hope you can display it professionally. It should particularly please a local, Santa Barbara audience - including people who can afford to pay a fair price for a print. Keep up the good work.

It's a bit gloomy, and not very interesting and pleasing as a wallpaper to me. It's probably nicer to see in person though.
