Subtle Sunset
By Crevisio
March 22nd, 2011
This 5-exposure HDR image was taken during a lovely, clear sunset on March 6, 2011. Shot from Cap Martin, between Roquebrune and Menton. You get a nice, more frontal, view on Monaco. However, if you plan to go, take a torch with you, since there is no light among the path by the sea! Enjoy!
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM @ f/8.

I like your other three similar submissions better than this one. Not only because of composition and distance from your subject, but because this one has a considerable amount of banding in the sky. I still downloaded it but those are my opinions.

The other 3 you have submitted are better. They show no signs of banding in the sky area, but this one does. I'm just finding the HDR a little too much for these types of shots. You seem to have reigned in the processing more than others and that's admirable.
Fix the banding issues and it's fine, if a little bland.

The only (false) negative point I see is that I'd need a big screen to appreciate this picture... =/
