Cherry Blossoms

I took this yesterday, standing next to that tree while waiting for someone - then I thought, "man you have to photograph this" - and I did! ;D

They are all beautiful... ugh!! *dies*
It's cherry blossoms, what's not to like?
Can't be improved unless it came to life on screen.

I love it it's nice and calming. However, personally I think would have moved the camera a half inch to the left or broke off that branch that's blurry in the foreground. I wouldn't mind a little bit of it in there, but it seems to overpower the foreground in my opinion.

I'm sincerely impressed. Sakura trees are very finicky about sunlight and water, so it's pretty tough to find a branch with such perfect blossoms in such a perfect position. Regarding what D_G said, I'm very glad you chose NOT to break off the branch. I practice Shinto, and it's very taboo to destroy trees or plants unless otherwise mentioned (such as in festivals). I think the color in this picture is incredible, and your angle is very impressive. You must have been standing in the tree! Thank you for sharing this :)

I think more of the same bright dark blue sky background would definitely improve this picture a bit by giving it higher 'pop' value by bringing out the flowers more and giving them higher contrast.
