Wow! This is just gorgeous. What can I say? You've taken all the typical scenic photos we usually see around here and completely melded them together and made it your own and original! I (as always) LOVE the oranges and blues, the shutter speed seems perfect (but I'm no expert), and the birds in the tree just give it the extra 'POP'. Thanks!

This one is pretty incredible. Gotta love the birdies, but the composition just sits perfectly on my desktop. The colors are super smooth, attractive, and calming. I really like the clouds, too.
Not much to complain about. Well, other than the fact that this is the only submission we've seen from Chris Gin in almost a year... what gives? IFL needs you!

Yes, welcome back Chris! I have missed your work here. And what a photo to return with! I agree with nbocch about the birds. For me they give it a sense of expectancy and a mood that wouldn't be there without them. The lower clouds give it a wonderful sense of depth, I think. I just put Philippe's Namibian tree on my desktop but now I'm going to have to have a tree-fest and put yours on too and have my Mac change between them every hour or so. Very different creations but both fabulous :-)
