The Chrysler Building

July 15th, 2011

Hey Guys, This is one of the coolest looking buildings in Manhattan. I really like the Art Deco style that it was built in. Hope you like it! :-) Danny

This is very cool and sharp and offers a detailed view of much of the city. I cropped a tiny bit off the top and sides, keeping the bottom center, but I like the original crop too. Thanks for this nice shot, and like most of your work, you really got the sharp but not over-sharpened feel down in your pieces that make you feel like you're there... With super vision that is. =)

Thx for the comment, Daddy. I Appreciate it. You always offer good constructive thoughts. :-)

I don't know that I would crop the sides but definitely the top. In hindsight, there is some empty space up top that could go.

Another great shot! Kudos to you, Danny. It's very sharp and I think that you caught the shot at a great time of day. It's yet another remarkable addition to your already excellent portfolio.

As you pointed out yourself, there is a bit too much space above the subject(s). I might try aiming a little lower and capturing a little more of the foreground buildings rather than just cropping out the sky. Still a fantastic shot, though.

Thanks Brad! One note about angling lower; any lower and my camera goes over the edge! This is as low as I can get with the camera on the edge of the ledge and not having to hold it! I never touch the camera when I press the shutter. But, I see what you mean definitely.
