Good post by WhiteDog. I agree. It does inspire interpretation as any good art should. It's for that reason that I really like this shot. It invokes a feeling. For me it reminds me of when the light turns green in NY or any city and the rush of people crossing the road begins. It almost makes me feel like I need to be somewhere in a hurry. Great shot, Nadeem!
Maybe a touch too much in the vignetting department...

Thanks so much guys, your feedback is more than appreciated, I am fairly new to the world of photography, so still a lot to learn!
I really like your honesty and I will take into account your advice!
The intent was exactly what you have described above, I wanted to share the feel of NYC's streets through a UK point of view...
Many thanks :D

I love the feeling of the photo. The framing is perfect, and having it as a wallpaper adds a special coolness to the computer itself
Nothing could be improved from my point of view! It's just perfect!

The one is dark and foreboding; the light is dingy and unfriendly, as if the air isn't safe to breathe. Which works as an archetype for the unhealthy character of city life.
This may have absolutely nothing to do with what you were thinking when you took the picture. The image succeeds nonetheless in that it got me wondering about what it means. Others will no doubt see it differently. Which is OK. There's nothing wrong with a picture that inspires multiple interpretations.
