Tunnel View

November 2nd, 2011

Yosemite National Park. After nearly an hour of winding, boring forest roads, nearly all of my passengers felt the pangs of motion sickness. We then entered a concrete tunnel with a point of light in the distance. Once we emerged from the tunnel, this majestic view greeted us. I was swept off my feet. So worth it.

I had photographed this view in the morning, but it wasn't until the late afternoon, on our way out, that the low sun drew swathes of warm light across the valley. This photo was the result of waiting for the light.

Nikon D200, Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR, Adobe Lightroom 3.

Beautiful Landscape.

Not sure where InterClaw sees this image as being crooked and unusable though

Beautiful shot! I also don't see it being crooked at all... There might be a little too much saturation most noticeably in the blue in the sky since it seems a little too perfect lol. However, as it is it still looks great, it's balanced and so calming. I might mess with the saturation of separate channels a bit but I would like to thank you for this great addition to my collection! =)

I forgot to add that there is a little too much vignetting for my taste and maybe next time you use vignetting try adding a little less than you usually do and compare with another version with how much you "want" to use. Just a suggestion... =)

Beautiful scenery. Very nice shot. I like the "mood" of the picture.

I really wish you had straightened this up more. Unusable unfortunately. :/
