I think this is almost an excellent image, exhibiting fine craftsmanship and imagination.
Unfortunately you fell pray to one of the most common errors in landscape photography and illustration: You placed the horizon line smack-dab in the middle of the image vertically. Like all rules this one can be broken when there is a compelling reason to do so. No such reason is apparent here. No doubt some will call me a snob for caring about such things, but the rules of composition are founded on solid aesthetic principles of which, I dare say, my critics will be ignorant.

The thing that makes no sense to me is why there is a tree growing on what looks like a solid stone island, with no trees anywhere on the mountains... The foreground of this image is very unrealistic (i.e. the water looks like it flows right through everything, and the tree is bare when everything around it seems vibrant and green). Mimicking nature requires extreme attention to detail.
