Pollinate

September 6th, 2012

There were lots of bees buzzing around in the park so I tried to get a few shots with my macro lens. I thought this one came out good. They were moving from one flower to the next in a matter of seconds so it was hard to catch one in focus.

Canon EOS Rebel XS, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM.

they might have been difficult to get into focus, but you managed to get on heck of a nice photo.

very detailed, DOF is not too shallow or too deep.

Thanks! I also was trying to be careful not to get stung since there were hundreds of them buzzing around!

Sheer beauty - colors are fantastic with the bee looking unaware. Very good shot. I hope to see more from you in the future. Thanks.

Absolutely lovely--reminds me of a shot I took of a bee collecting pollen from a blue chicory flower with my Sony Cybershot :) My picture turned out bit blurry, so credits to you for getting a clear shot! =D Thanks for sharing :)
