Forth Road

Forth Road Bridge in Scotland at Sunset. Sunset only lasted around 20 minutes and I managed to catch the Sun just before it dived and died.

Photoshop 6 and Nik Software Color Efex 4.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM.

Photo Settings: 24mm, f/22, 1/2 second, ISO 50.

Who can resist a suspension bridge at sunset? What I like to do with this type of image is crop it much more tightly to the bridge itself. Obviously the resulting aspect ratio does not work well for wallpaper, but the effect is very pleasing nonetheless.
