Taken from the top of Muottas Muragl, a minor summit situated near St. Moritz in Switzerland. It offers a great view on the four lakes of St. Moritz / Engadin and is reachable until 11PM by a cable car.

Adobe Photoshop CC, Nik Color Efex, Adobe Camera RAW.

Nikon D800, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED.

Photo Settings: 24mm, f/2, 88 seconds, ISO 100.

@Kendo: Sorry to hear that the image is "ruined" to you. Unfortunately, the star trails go hand in hand with a 30 sec long exposure. If you want to prevent that, you have to use a Vixen Polarie.

Dominic, as you say, the stars are part of the long exposure.
I loved this picture so much, I removed all the stars with Photoshop. It makes a great desktop, thank you.
