Eiffel Towered

December 22nd, 2005

A negative of the famous tower in France. Got tired of looking at all the same images, so I decided to make it my own. Enjoy.

I am baffled as to why this image is set as negative. While some photos become thought provoking and unique with such treatment, this is not one of them. A stunning photo is lost in a failed artistic attempt.

Its obvious you prefer the boring postcard aspect of the positive image. I myself was bored with looking at it. This attempt is not for you, nor anyone else, but rather for my own personal enjoyment. If you looked at any of my other work you would realize that I have more artistic talent in my elbow than you have anywhere. Cheers.

If you dont enjoy the negative aspect you just have to use "paint" and do it yourself. Btw I think it's better this way (positive).

I personnally inverted the image as soon as I downloaded it. I usually love inverting photos to negative, but in this case I liked the positive version better. I understand the artist's attempt but we all like different things :) My thanks to the artist for atleast putting up something nice. (if we all did the same thing, art wouldn't really exist now would it.)

Well the other comments aside, I kinda like it. I'm tired of seeing the same old Eiffel Tower shots over and over, it's getting to be a tired idea. I mean it's a great structure and all, but it's been done to death, you know? Negatives can be fun when you're tired of seeing something the same way all the time. So this is a nice desktop piece, I'm going to use it for a while. Kudos, and keep 'em coming.

I personally love it. I am sick of the same old shots of the tower and this is a really interesting view of such a wonderful structure. And Cacoe, get over yourself. If you really find it disturbing how he has taken a photo of the tower and included it in his picture then get a life and moan about something worthwile. He is perfectly in his own rights to photograph that tower whatever is on it. I am sure the structure itself is copyrighted to stop others copying it, does that mean it is illegal to photo it? NO. People this days surprise me.

Now this I like! The usual Eiffel tower shots are dead in the water.
