Awesome photo. It definitely does the area justice. I spend lots of time over there all year round, and you've really captured how beautiful that lake really is. Makes me want to go water skiing :)

I really appreciate all that's being said here. Thanks folks. I went back to the same spot a week ago and got another angle with some different colors and such. I think the second version is a little better. I put it on my photoblog, but don't think it's unique enough to repost here. Check it out: click here. http://www.chrisfenison.com/photos/648/spared-epic-falls-ii

Great photo. But you are right, the other version is even better! Wish you would change your mind and post it. You are right it isn't much different in one sense, but it is a very differnt view of the same thing.

Truly spectacular photograph. I found a link to this photo from this (http://interfacelift.com/) site and was quite impressed. I looked at the second version in your photoblog and was absolutely blown away. This is an incredible picture, but the second one is nearly off the charts! Superb! Sorry I'm so late with the comment.
Once again, bravo, and thank you!

Excellent! This will live on my desktop. It really matches the brushed metal of a Macbook Pro. (better than Apple's own choices I think). Very vast and clear look with great natural lighting. Does what a desktop picture should do. Are you going to publish the other epic falls as a desktop picture?

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
@Richard: I couldnt find my photo on his site, but thanks for the heads up.
@sumondi_regner: It's at Lake BillyChinook which is near Madras, Oregon.
At this time I'm not publishing the second version as a desktop. Perhaps in the future, but for now I'm guarding it a bit. Thanks again for the feedback.
