5 of Clubs

October 14th, 2006

I was in my contemplative mode when I thought about how Apple changed the way that people thought of ordinary objects by making them seem special and important enough to be worth designing with care. I decided to test out that claim by taking something as ordinary as a 5 of clubs and making a desktop out of that one object.

Hey, I like the idea, and you are definatly on the right track conceptually but a single colour might have worked better. Also, I'm assuming you did it in photoshop or a 3D package? Try to make it sharper and you've got yourself a nice desktop. Keep up the good work!

I agree with dan. Make it a single colored one. I'd also pick an object with no details inside the shape, just the outline for simplicity.
