I was walking around during winter, looking for some nice shots. This photo looked quite boring, but after playing with the contrast in Photoshop it became such a nice wallpaper. Hope you like it too.

Taken on a cold winter day just west of Salt Lake City, Utah. Just west of Stansbury Island on the Great Salt Lake are evaporation ponds used to harvest salt and brine shrimp. During the winter these ponds are often full of water because the extra precipitation. The calm reflection and the salt buildup on the rocks in the foreground mixed with the clouds helps create a seamless bridge between sky and ground.
