Near Mt. Charleston, just outside Las Vegas, NV. The storm was following my Jeep out of the mountain. For a brief moment, the Sun broke through the dense cloud cover and cast a light on this mountain to my side. Luckily I pulled over and snapped the shot before the storm reclaimed the land.

Happy Isle Lake, Algonquin Park, Canada. It was early morning in September this year. One of the first cold nights. I woke up to a completely foggy lake and as it burned off I got some stunning pictures. This was one of my favorite.

A composition of two hastily taken shots atop the Empire State Building. We were fortunate to have arrived at the viewing deck during twilight on a beautiful evening in early July 2009. By no means is this my best work but the colours were too exciting and changing too quickly to miss.
