'De 9 straatjes' is an area in Amsterdam with lots of unique shops. Worth a visit on your next stay in the Dutch capital. I took this picture mid December on a rainy day. I like it, hope you do as well ;)

Here's a shot of the Pennybacker Bridge in Austin, Texas. I took this after midnight under a full moon on a warm Friday night late last summer. I had to wait a while to claim a good spot amongst all the young couples having a late-night "picnic." I shot this at f/8, ISO 200 for 30 seconds on a sturdy Manfrotto tripod. The wind was blowing harder than the photo suggests, so I had to hold down the tripod for the duration of the exposure to keep it steady, and it's a fairly heavy tripod. I wasn't planning on working out the old guns that night! I think by the time I took this particular shot my arms were shaking from all the work, so I do notice a bit more softness than I'd like in the image. Hopefully someone out there enjoys it...

Took this while on a trip across the USA. We were visiting Canyonlands National Park in March. This image shows the power of nature.

This was taken at the Indian Run Falls in Dublin, Ohio. I did not know that waterfalls existed in the metro area of Columbus considering how flatness of the area. When I found this jewel of a park I had to grab a picture. I wanted to try and capture the movement so I used a long exposure.

To get to this beach you have to walk down cliffs for about 20 minutes. When I started the descent the weather was fairly clear. However, when I reached the beach, a storm was starting to form resulting in this sunset. Taken in Hovs Hallar, Sweden.
