Sunset shot from a cliff above Menton on the French Riviera. Menton Garavan with its port in the foreground, the old town of Menton with the smaller port in the center leading to Roquebrune Cap Martin, and part of the Principality of Monaco appearing just behind. Enjoy!
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM shot at f/14.
This was a shot looking up at the redwoods on the Roaring Camp Railroad, thus the smoke in the air. The steam from the engine made the sunlight piercing through the trees come to life. Felton, California
Magnolia Street in Huntington Beach, California. I got this shot as a small and early winter-type storm made it's way out of Southern California. The beach was completely empty and perfect for an evening shoot.
Sony α100, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II shot at f/3.5. Adobe Photoshop CS5.
Beams of sunset light shining through the coastal hills on the west coast of New Zealand. This shot was taken between Fox and Franz Josef glaciers by the side of the road after a long day of driving. I saw the light in the rear view mirror but couldn't see a good place to frame it. In the end I stopped just before turning the final corner into the mountains and got lucky!

Empty Valley (Pusta Dolinka) from The Valley of Five Polish Ponds. The mountains in the background are part of most dangerous trails in the Tatra Mountains - Eagle's Path. One of the last sunny days before the snow.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, HDR from one RAW file.
This autumn day I was mushroom hunting in my local forest and I brought the camera just in case. This turned out to be a great choice when the Sun started to set between the treetops. This made the lightning particularly interesting in this place.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, Adobe Lightroom 3, Adobe Photoshop CS5.
The Indian summer of 2011 in Charlotte afforded us a perfect Sunday at Freedom Park. These beautiful bright purple bushes look surreal as they softly sway in the slightest breeze - I had to capture them.
